“I mean, it’s about time,” she said. The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter said that opening her Westwood, New Jersey restaurant, Il Vero, led them to stay put in her apartment for now.
“You know, we wanted to move into a place together, so that we could make it our own,” she said. “But with Il Vero opening, there was just a lot going on. I kind of needed to just take a minute, and moving seemed super stressful right now. So we’re going to do a year in my place and I’m so grateful; he was amazing and said that he would do that. So we’re going to stay a year in my place, and then after the year is over we’ll find a new place that we’ll stay in for a long time.”
Would Gia Giudice move to NYC?
Although Gia has been on Next Gen NYC Seasons 1 and 2, she told Bravo Insider that she is a Jersey girl through and through, and doesn’t have any current interest in moving to NYC. “We were browsing in the city, but now I have my restaurant in Westwood, New Jersey, so I was moving to Jersey City to be closer to New York, but now I have a business that’s holding me back in Jersey,” she said. “So I think I’m gonna kind of have to stay in my area just so it’s easier for me to go to Il Vero, but also easy for me to get to New York. If I go into the city, it’s going to just add more time onto my drive to the restaurant. Never say never. You couldn’t get me out of Jersey.”
