Gia Giudice is “getting closer” to opening her New Jersey restaurant, Il Vero, with her mom, Teresa Giudice. Gia briefly revealed during the Next Gen NYC Season 2 finale that she was opening up her first restaurant and is sharing major updates on it today.

The Il Vero team took to Instagram on Aug. 27, where they posted a photo of their full staff. This includes The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa and Gia, who looked so happy to be hanging out with the team. “We’re so excited to finally introduce the people who are bringing Il Vero to life,” they wrote in the caption of the post. “The team is ready to welcome you, serve you, and make every visit unforgettable.”
The restaurant, which is located in Westwood, New Jersey, isn’t open yet, but is getting closer to opening. “And we can’t wait to welcome you through our doors,” they concluded in the caption of the post.
Gia Giudice gives tour and shares new details about her restaurant, Il Vero
Gia took to Instagram in June, where she posted a video of her standing inside Il Vero, showing off all of the exciting features the restaurant has to offer. “So much has happened, so much has gotten done, which just means that the opening is coming that much sooner,” she said, before showing off the bar, which seats 25 to 28 people and includes built-in shelves featuring a “gorgeous textured mirror in the background.”
The downstairs dining area features “super comfortable” banquettes and the opportunity for outdoor seating or lounge dining. The restaurant also includes an upstairs level complete with turquoise velvet booths that are “absolutely stunning” as well as a smaller, upstairs bar area with a rooftop deck for more outdoor seating. “We are so excited, and we will see you so soon,” Gia concluded at the end of the video.

Il Vero is opening “soon,” according to Gia. Although an opening date has not yet been announced, the team admitted in an Aug. 27 Instagram post that they are “getting closer” to opening.

What is on the menu at Teresa and Gia Giudice’s restaurant, Il Vero?
Although an official menu for Il Vero has not yet been released, according to their Instagram account, they will be serving “elevated cocktails” that are “crafted with intention.” Il Vero will also serve Italian dishes, inspired by Teresa’s Italian heritage.
Gia took to her TikTok account on July 21, where she teased the cuisine that will be served at Il Vero. She said, “Some of the dishes on the menu tonight are grilled octopus, chicken saltimbocca, steak pizzaiola, and a lot of their favorite dishes.”
