Gina Kirschenheiter isn’t a fan of the “boyfriend” label — at least not when it comes to Travis Mullen.
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom explained her position during a recent interview with The Daily Dish, saying the boyfriend term simply felt too “juvenile.”
“I’m like we have six kids and a life together, and a business together,” she said. “Like, if there was some other word we could come up with…. You know, he needs a promotion.”

Would Gina be more comfortable using the “fiancé” or “husband” label? Well, she’s not completely opposed to the idea.
The one-time divorcee confirmed this when asked about a potential engagement to her longtime beau. Gina confessed she used to have doubts about exchanging “I dos” again, but she’s now in a position where a second marriage seems plausible.
“Honestly, I think that the thing was… There was just so much going on there,” she said, referring to her and Travis’ past relationship issues. “I didn’t feel like I knew whether I wanted to commit, overall, to this situation… what comes with Travis. And now that I feel so deeply committed to that and more stable, and I think like we’re finally in a place where we could even possibly entertain something like that…
“This is a Travis question,” she continued. “You know, I’m not going to propose to Travis.”

So, if and when Travis decides to pop the question, what kind of engagement ring would Gina prefer?
She told The Daily Dish she was drawn to the classic cushion-cut diamond that’s “super popular” right now, and would be happy with a minimal, clean design.
“I honestly would just like a nice big round stone, like, nothing busy,” she said. “I feel like [in] my first marriage, my ring was very busy. And I just feel like I’m a different person now, so I just would want something very simple, classic, timeless, but not small. I mean, yeah, come on.”
