In a statement issued on July 28 by the police force, Glennis claimed that his 49-year-old wife was unconscious when he contacted 911 on January 12 in the morning as per PEOPLE Magazine.

During the lengthy investigation, it was discovered that Jennifer had fentanyl in her system. Detectives later found that Glennis had purposefully added fentanyl to his wife’s food on two occasions unbeknownst to her. Notably, Glennis was earlier sentenced to prison for spousal rape from a previous marriage, according to court records obtained by CBS News.
