After the body was discovered in mid‑August, Panettiere’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson had already handed the authorities a bag of prescription medication that his girlfriend took regularly.

Hickerson was taken into police custody on Saturday night together with his brother Zach.

The arrest stemmed from aggressive behavior at a bar in Greenville, where the 37‑year‑old had lived with Panettieri.
