Heather and Terry Dubrow respond to Vicki Gunvalson’s claims she inherited her money
Terry continued, addressing the speculation that he inherited money from his late brother, Quiet Riot frontman, Kevin Dubrow. “‘Cause my brother passed away, OK? It’s super mean. Does it make her feel more successful to make us seem less successful?” he asked. “That we inherited our money?”
“I think it’s two things,” Heather added. “I think first of all, Vicki’s trying to make it out like I’m putting on airs or trying to tell a story. I don’t know, something like that, which I think is ridiculous. And then number two: I think sometimes it makes people feel better about themselves if someone feels like they were just handed something. Oh, they were just given that, so I don’t have to feel bad that I don’t have what they have. I think it’s that.”

“But the bottom line is if we had inherited money, we would have said it. Who cares?” Heather added.
“By the way, we’re pretty much an open book. We didn’t inherit a single dime from my brother,” Terry noted.
What did Vicki Gunvalson say about Heather Dubrow’s wealth?
Vicki confronted Heather at the party in Episode 1 of RHOC Season 20, asking her why she was “being mean” behind her back. Heather replied, pointing out that Vicki had said that she and Terry had inherited their money. “I don’t know where you got your money,” Vicki replied.
Vicki continued to question Heather and Terry’s wealth during the episode. “Doctors don’t live in $40 million homes or $20 million homes. I mean, I know a lot of doctors. Heather’s an actress, so maybe it’s her Emmy Award-winning acting that got her all that money,” she said.
Terry Dubrow shares a message to Vicki Gunvalson after questioning his wealth
Terry doubled down on his defense of being self-made when speaking to Bravo Insider. “I did seven years of general surgery residency where I was awake and working for 148 hours a week. And by the way, there’s 168 hours in a week; 24 times 7 is 168, I worked 148 of those. Learning how to be a surgeon, OK?” he continued.
He also stated, “And the other thing is, I put it out there, Vicki, put your money where your mouth is. And we’ll bet you $100,000 that I can prove to you beyond a shadow of a doubt that we, me, I, didn’t inherit a single dime from my brother. And if you don’t want to take that bet, you should S-T-F-U, Vicki.”
