Carole Radziwill is revealing what’s different about filming The Real Housewives of New York City Season 16 compared to previous seasons. The apple holder joined the RHONY cast in Season 5, prior to her departure in Season 10, before making her return for RHONY Season 16. And she has some thoughts about it all.

Carole appeared on a panel on Sept. 1 in the Hamptons in honor of RHONY Season 16, where she openly spoke about the differences between this upcoming new season and the old seasons. “One difference is when I started in Season 5 in, I don’t know, 2011, I didn’t know anybody. I didn’t know anybody,” she admitted.
But, going into RHONY Season 16, Carole admitted that “for some reason” she was familiar with the cast members. “I knew Erin [Lichy] for a few years, and I met almost all of them in the New York social scene, so that was different,” she noted.

Carole continued, admitting on the panel that the “vibes” are also different for RHONY Season 16. “I think the audience is happy to see an OG back, and I think they’ll come for me, but they’ll stay for the cast,” she stated.
“Because they’re really dynamic, they’re really funny,” she added. “I feel like we brought the funny back, and I think you all are gonna love it. And I loved it, and I loved working with them. I loved others more than some others, but this is the nature of the show and the nature of life. So I think you all will be happily surprised.”
This is in line with what Carole said about the new season in a post to her Instagram Story in August. “It’s definitely a new era,” she admitted.
