Melissa Gorga shares how her relationship with Joe Gorga has changed
Although Melissa will be experiencing “anxiety” in her relationship with Joe in RHONJ Season 15, she shared with Bravo Insider that their marriage has changed for the better over the years. “I would say it gets stronger,” she said. “I mean, there’s more love there, there’s more commitment every year, right? You know, we enjoy our kids so much together. I feel like we mesh into each other a little bit more and more. Like, we learn how to work together the older we get.”

How did Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga meet?
Melissa, then Melissa Marco, first met Joe in 2002 when they were both guests at the same hotel in Cancun, Mexico. But, they didn’t start dating until they ran into each other while attending the same beach bar at the Jersey Shore. Joe ended up proposing to Melissa on her birthday, after booking them a hotel room and booking her a visit to the spa.
“When I was done with my spa day, he was in there on his knee, with rose petals everywhere,” Melissa explained to Bravo Insider at BravoCon 2025. “It’s really cute. It was just the two of us, and I thought it was just my birthday present, and I ended up getting engaged.”

Both Joe and Melissa appeared on the podcast, Legally Goff, on March 24, 2026 where they shared some insight into how they raise their kids. “I mean, we just keep the old school values,” Joe said during the episode. “Like I get up every day and go to work and just show them that we go to work and she hustles. We all hustle very hard. We do as much as we can. If we’re not around, we just always have dinner together.”
