Inside Wild Argentina, World Cup Dressing Room Celebrations As Messi Dances With £8m Cheque

The ‘Inside Wild Argentina, World Cup Dressing Room Celebrations As Messi Dances With £8m Cheque’  Argentina jubilantly celebrated their World Cup triumph over France in their dressing room. , Emiliano Martinez and retired striker Sergio Aguero led the party as Argentina marked winning a World Cup for the first time since 1986.

Aguero and Nicolas Otamendi were among the players to share footage from inside the dressing room after the remarkable clash with France. Argentina won on penalties after an incredible 3-3 draw, which included a Kylian Mbappe hat-trick and a brace for Messi.

Argentina’s captain danced the night away after completing his trophy haul with his first-ever World Cup. The 35-year-old posed for a photo with FIFA president Gianni Infantino, waved around a cheque worth £ 8.2 million and clutched the trophy as he celebrated.

Messi danced on a table with the World Cup trophy before a conga broke out. Goalkeeper Martinez, who saved a penalty and forced a miss from Aurelien Tchouameni, briefly paused for a mock “moment of silence” for France star Kylian Mbappe.

Former Manchester City and Barcelona ace Aguero joined the celebrations despite having retired from football over a year ago due to a heart problem. The prolific ex-striker, puffing on a huge cigar on his Instagram, had one unnecessary moment when he called the 20-year-old French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga a “D***face”.

It is unclear what Aguero’s beef with the Real Madrid youngster is. He never played against the former Rennes man during his career – with their closest meeting coming during an El Clasico the last term, in which Aguero scored his final career goal but Camavinga remained an unused substitute.

One coach did a flip into one of the wheelie bins, with players joyously spraying the individual with booze. Some fans have pointed out that alcohol was banned for supporters inside stadia during the Qatar World Cup.

Messi was then handed a cheque worth £8.2m, the amount paid to the World Cup winners. The Barcelona icon and current Paris Saint-Germain forward then danced with the cheque.

The attacker, who scored twice in the game and struck a composed penalty in the shootout, revealed after the game that he would not be retiring from international football. Earlier in the tournament, he said that this would be his final World Cup.

Messi is expected to continue playing in qualifiers. “I will not retire. I want to continue playing as a World Cup champion,” he told TyC Sports.

“It’s the most beautiful thing there is. Look what it is, it’s beautiful, I wanted it a lot. God was going to give it to me, I had a feeling that it was this, we suffered a lot, but we got it.

“Obviously I wanted to close my career with this, I can’t ask for anything anymore. Thank God he gave me everything. Closing almost my career like this, it’s impressive.”
