Get ready to turn your speakers up really loud as Summer House‘s KJ Dillard and Dara Levitan have taken things to the next level. You see, they have recently teamed up as co-stars for KJ’s new music video for his song, “My Lil Thing.” In the visual, Dara plays KJ’s love interest as they find themselves in flirty situations like dancing with one another, cuddling, and playing Twister.
On the track, KJ raps about getting more serious in a relationship that seems to allude to KJ and Dara, as he raps, “From the Hamptons to the City” (get it?). At another point in the song, he raps, “Yeah, she’s my lil thing. Stick around, I’ll give her a wedding ring. Stick around, I’ll give her a second name.”
KJ spoke to Complex about his music career the same day the track dropped, which is a tribute to Dara, whom he started dating after they met during Summer House Season 10. “Music has always been at the forefront of my creative passions,” he told Complex UK on May 29. “I grew up in studios and writing songs, so it was less of a switch and more of a pursuit of a dream that I’ve had for decades.”

Of course, KJ isn’t just a musician, but also a model and skateboarder. He spoke about his multihyphenate career when chatting with The Daily Dish earlier this year. “A lot of the things I do are project-based with my job; I make music as well,” he shared. “So, it’s like, if I’m working on a single, an EP or album, or if I have anything modeling or skateboard-related that I’m working on at the time, it’s very project-based.”
