Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are about to enter a new chapter together as they are soon going to be first-time grandparents. The estranged Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple is months away from their pregnant daughter, Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, welcoming her first baby into the world later this year
And you can bet that Kyle and Mauricio (who is Farrah’s stepdad) have a lot of feelings about starting their grandparents era of life. When Farrah confirmed her pregnancy in early July 2026, both her mom and stepdad were quick to express their excitement for Farrah.
Kyle commented on Farrah’s announcement post, “I can’t wait for this new chapter!! I love you so much Fairy!” Kyle took to her Instagram Stories as well, where she reposted the news, adding, “We’re having a baby.”
Mauricio added on the same post in the comments, “You are gorgeous and I’m so happy for all of us and this baby is going to be so loved. I can’t wait wooohooo.”

Kyle has been open about how excited she is to become a grandma for the first time. She’s been sharing looks at how she’s prepping, which includes pushing the family’s pet cat, Pippa, around in a baby carriage as well as waxing nostalgic about when she became a mom for the first time when she welcomed Farrah into the world by sharing a throwback photo. In a video shared by Farrah about when she shared her baby news with Kyle, her mom’s reaction to the news included feeling “shook” and “literally speechless.”
As it turns out, Farrah is pregnant at the same time as her cousin, Whitney Davis White (who is Kim Richards‘ second-oldest daughter). After a recent update on her life that offered a look at her pregnancy as well as Whitney’s pregnancy, Mauricio commented. “This is so sweet and cute and I am sooooooooo excited to become a grandpa,” he wrote in the comments, along with an old man emoji.
Kyle also reacted to the cousins having babies at the same time by sharing a photo of them together, showing off their bumps, and adding a heart emoji.
