Portia Umansky’s freshman year at college is well underway. Kyle Richards’ youngest daughter is currently attending the University of Colorado – Boulder, and her mom and sister, Sophia Umansky, are sharing a look at her life as a college student today.
Kyle took to her Instagram Story earlier this month, where she posted a snapshot from a video of Portia. “My baby is a college girl,” Kyle wrote over the video, along with a red heart emoji. In the original video, originally posted to Portia’s TikTok account, she can be seen lip-syncing to a Rihanna song while standing in her dorm room. “I’ve decided I’m going to become a casual poster,” she captioned the post.
Portia’s older sister, Sophia, further shared a look into Portia’s dorm room by taking to her Instagram Story, where she posted a photo of her fully made bed. Portia’s super chic dorm bed can be seen bathed in a pink light, while adorned with fun throw pillows and a leopard throw blanket.

How Kyle Richards, Mauricio Umansky, and their daughters supported Portia’s college move
Sophia took to her TikTok account on Sept. 10, where she documented Portia’s college move-in process. The social media influencer shared a look at her day with Portia once their mom and dad, Mauricio Umansky, left Boulder. In the video, Portia and Sophia can be seen grabbing coffee, eating lunch, shopping for Portia’s dorm room, and hanging out on her dorm bed before Sophia left on her flight to California.

Right after moving Portia into college, Sophia took to her Instagram Story where she shared a look at Portia’s room. The sisters decorated the dorm bed with a white comforter with two fuzzy pillows, a leopard throw pillow, and a satin-covered pillowcase on top of her bed, along with her stuffed teddy bear and stuffed dog. A super fun throw pillow with the words “brunette bombshell” can be seen adorning the top of the bed. “I wanna go back to college,” Sophia wrote over the photo.

While Portia has moved away to college, Kyle isn’t living alone in her home in Encino, California. You see, Sophia still lives at home with her, which Kyle is thankful for. “I’m really prepping myself psychologically because she is my baby, the youngest,” Kyle told Bravo Insider shortly before Portia moved away to school. “Thank God I still have Sophia living at home with me.”
After moving Portia in, Sophia took to TikTok, where she posted a video, sharing her thoughts and feelings about her younger sister living so many states away. “I’m genuinely so excited for her. I know she’s going to have the best time ever. I’m so excited for her, but I’m sad for myself,” she stated. “I think it just really hit me that that was probably our last time living together. In four years, when she graduates, I’ll be 30.”
