As seen in RHUGT Episode 5, Lisa Barlow’s drama with her castmates from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City ultimately spotlighted for Kyle and Teresa just how much that show differs from their experiences of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Real Housewives of New Jersey, respectively. More specifically, the ladies were reacting to Lisa’s NSFW claim about Angie Katsanevas’ husband, Shawn Trujillo, from RHOSLC Season 5.

In fact, neither Kyle nor Teresa even knew the meaning of the sexual term that Lisa was arguing with Angie and Heather Gay about in Atlanta on RHUGT: Roaring 20th. Needless to say, the RHOBH and RHONJ OGs were brought up to speed, though Kyle still had some questions when she stepped into her confessional, later on.

“I’m literally feeling like we’re like monks in Beverly Hills,” Kyle joked to a producer. “Like, I never knew. I’m like, ‘Take me home!'”

Teresa, meanwhile, added in her producer interview, “I guess that’s what, like, goes on in Utah. Like, that doesn’t happen in Jersey.”

Kyle Richards and Teresa Giudice weigh in on Lisa Barlow’s RHOSLC castmate drama on RHUGT

Lisa had previously explained in Beverly Hills that she was at odds with a majority of her castmates following the RHOSLC Season 6 reunion, which had filmed roughly six weeks earlier and was airing on Bravo when the RHUGT ladies reached the Atlanta stop of their trip. Teresa, for one, was feeling protective of Lisa when Heather and Angie, as well as Mary Cosby, popped up in the Peach State.

“I want Lisa to know that I have her back,” Teresa explained in a confessional. “I want her to feel it. I’m not gonna leave Lisa’s side.”

As the RHOSLC ladies grew increasingly activated, Teresa chimed in to defend her fellow RHUGT cast member, particularly when Heather addressed claims about Lisa’s alleged facelift. The RHONJ ‘Wife added in her interview, “It’s jaw-dropping, what Heather’s saying to Lisa Barlow. It’s, like, false accusations. That hurts people’s lives. Like, that should be a no-no.”

Amid the trio’s dustup, Kyle interjected, “Let me ask you a question. Were you guys just saying things to be mean, to hurt each other, and you don’t really mean it? If that’s the case, then apologize.” After the group dispersed, Kyle comforted a tearful Lisa, assuring her that it was “OK to be hurt” by Heather and Angie.

“Even before this girls trip together, Lisa has always been very sweet to me,” Kyle added in a confessional. “She has shown me nothing but kindness. I know these other two ladies are lovely, and I’m sure there’s two sides of the story, but I feel exhausted playing referee with the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.”

Why the RHOSLC ladies were fighting in front of Kyle and Teresa during RHUGT‘s Atlanta stop

Though Lisa had some separate issues with Whitney Rose and Bronwyn Newport, who attended Kyle’s white party in Beverly Hills, the drama in Atlanta was centered on Lisa’s rumored cosmetic work. As Lisa explained in front of Kyle and Teresa on RHUGT: Roaring 20th, comments that Angie, Whitney, and Mary made on the RHOSLC reunion about her getting a facelift, even though she denied going under the knife, are what had her so fired up.

“I didn’t even get a facelift,” Lisa maintained. “Watch the reunion. Angie, when I watched it, I was like, ‘This is some mean girl s–t.'”

Declaring that Lisa was actually the “mean girl,” Heather pointed out that she “never accused” Lisa of getting a facelift. However, Heather followed up with, “She looks so good, it’s almost impossible to imagine she didn’t get it.” Angie, for her part, insisted that Lisa was “lying” and that she “never said” she was “ugly.”

That’s when Heather brought up what Lisa said about Angie’s husband, asking her, “And now you’re a full saint?” Though Heather still expressed her love for Lisa, the RHOSLC ladies never resolved their issues.

“What happens with, like, the girls from my franchise is they can’t be happy for me,” Lisa theorized in a confessional. “I have to have a wall up because they’re not going to kill my joy. You can’t take that away from me, and I’m not gonna let you.”

As the ladies head to Miami, don’t miss a sneak peek at Teresa confronting Heather again on RHUGT: Roaring 20th.
