Vanderpump Rules alum Lala Kent knows how to keep fans on their toes with her ever-changing looks, even when it’s apparently unintentional.
The mom of two and former SUR hostess first shared a couple of photos on her Instagram Stories on August 20, teasing a new look on the horizon as she sat in the salon chair, cape and all, with foils in her hair.
A day later, while sitting in a reclined position elsewhere, she showed off “the tiniest bit” of her hair’s bangs, giving viewers a close-up as she revealed “this baby hair” at the top of her forehead. She demonstrated how the natural strands only reached so far, about halfway to her eyebrows.
Quoting the popular 2001 film Legally Blonde and adding a GIF from the movie onto her Story, Lala comically announced, “I got bangs!” before breaking into a fit of laughter. In a follow-up IG Story, Lala proved the unwanted strays were easy to conceal with her long, brown, and freshly highlighted hair.
The reveal was just the latest as the friend of The Valley embraces her “all-natural girl” era after years of many unforgettable looks.

In January, the Give Them Lala beauty brand owner posted a video as she prepped for an Amazon Live stream, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at life after her ditching her signature blonde locks. The darker mane — which she still sports today — was a welcome change with age, as she explained in a separate broadcast on October 29.
“I wish you could see me in person because the amount of grays that I have in this hair, I didn’t realize,” she said. “I was brushing my hair upside down the other day [and saw] I have so many grays. I’m trying to get rid of the blonde because I just am not feeling it. My hair has been so damaged over and over again that I’m just trying to get it healthy.”

She also referred to herself as “an all-natural girl” when describing why she didn’t love the fake eyelash craze, “besides my lips [and] maybe my cheeks and my jaw, too,” she added. “Let’s not go there.”
The Utah native previously claimed the “craziest” split ends tipped her over to the brunette side of the hair spectrum.
Does Lala Kent have plans to dye her hair blonde again?
In February, Lala said she missed her platinum blonde and reached out to her followers for their thoughts. She noted that she couldn’t get a hold of the gray as she hoped, inquiring, “Do we like the natural-looking hair? By the way, my grays are popping with this natural hair. I have to do root touchups. Or do we go blonde again? I don’t know. I’m torn.”
All said, the 34-year-old single mother had big plans for her hair when she reached 40.
“This is what I do want to do, though, you guys: I think I want to get my hair healthy again; then, when I turn 40 — which is in five years, but that will fly by — I want to chop it and do the bleachiest of platinum blonde ever with a dark root and have a slicked-back moment,” she said. “I’m already planning for 40. What is going on?”
