The Valley cast member Lala Kent is opening up about where she stands with Vanderpump Rules alums Scheana Shay and Ariana Madix. Lala appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, May 13, where she shared more information about her friendships with her former cast members.
Lala was asked by host Andy Cohen what the “current status” of her friendship with Ariana was. The mom of two lifted her hands in exasperation and looked the other way. “None. Non-existent… Haven’t spoken to her since Vanderpump Rules,” Andy answered for her. “Yeah,” Lala said in reply.
He then asked her where she stands with Scheana after falling out in their friendship. But Lala admitted that she didn’t want to get into that on WWHL. “She’s over there, I’m over here,” she said. “She’s Bravo blogging, I’m here.”
However, Lala would talk to Scheana if she ended up appearing on The Valley. “If she appeared, then we could duke it out,” Lala noted. “But, she hasn’t appeared.”

Lala continued, noting that she only talks to VPR alums Tom Schwartz, Kristen Doute, and Brittany Cartwright, who are on The Valley Season 3 with her. She revealed that the last time she spoke with anyone from VPR was at the Season 11 reunion. “I haven’t spoken to anyone since that reunion,” she said. “That’s true.”

Lala Kent opens up about her friendship breakup with Katie Maloney
Lala had previously opened up about her friendship breakup with Katie Maloney during a May 1 episode of her podcast, An Unlikely Affair. The Utah native admitted that her friendship breakup with Katie was the “hardest” on her. “I went through a lot of anger, a lot of resentment, a lot of sadness,” Lala said.
She continued, admitting that she had “betrayed” Katie during the VPR Season 11 reunion after she brought up something that Katie did not want her to talk about. “So we were just doing what we’ve always done, but now on camera,” she explained. “And that friendship revived me. I felt safe. I felt seen. And it breaks my heart to know that in a matter of moments, I didn’t make her feel the same.”
She further admitted that she knows she might not be friends with Katie again. “I don’t think it’s ever gonna come back, and that’s fine. I’m content with that,” she revealed. “There are times where we’re both surviving. And you may act in a way that’s out of character, but it can shift things…So although I miss that friendship deeply, and I know there’s no repairing it, we’ve both moved on.”
