Summer should be fun — and that is a philosophy Lala Kent and her family are definitely living by. The Valley cast member has been thriving with her two daughters, Sosa and Ocean, by her side, with plenty on the agenda to keep Lala and her girls busy.
And, it sounds like these girls know how to have fun. “Face masks, girl time, the Ravens, and little big moments,” Lala shared in August alongside a carousel of photos that feature Lala and her daughters hanging out together at home, being goofy while getting in some beauty treatments, at the beach, and getting their hair done.
But it’s been a busy few weeks for the trio as they started a new school year and celebrated some important birthdays.
Lala Kent’s daughter, Ocean, starts kindergarten for the 2026 school year
School is in session for Lala’s oldest daughter, 5-year-old Ocean. Lala opened up about her daughter’s milestone in an Instagram Story in August, sharing, “My baby’s first day of school went wonderfully. Guys… I’m a mom to a kindergartener.”
The proud mom opened up more about Ocean’s new school year as well as her other latest milestones, including the fact that she lost her first tooth. “O started school. She lost her first tooth… I am unwell to say the least. I don’t know why I’m so emotional about all of this. Anytime I think about it, see an old picture, I uncontrollably sob,” she wrote on Instagram in late August.

Lala Kent’s daughter, Sosa, celebrates her 2nd birthday
By the time early September rolled around, it was Sosa’s turn to be in the spotlight as she marked her second birthday on Sept. 3, one day before Lala celebrates her birthday. Lala, of course, took this special day as an opportunity to share new insights into her baby girl’s life.
“My sweet girl – oh how I love and adore you so much, my heart could explode. You are simply everything. The kindest, most gentle soul. You are free-spirited, funny, and just happy to be here. Even at the age of 2, you are adamant about what you want. You have fulfilled my life in ways I can’t put into words,” Lala wrote. “You are the greatest decision I’ve ever made. We are truly blessed to have you. What an honor to be your mom. Happy 2nd birthday, my little Virgo baby. Keep standing on business.”
