Lala Reveals Unaired Details on Nia & Danny Fight (EXCLUSIVE)

The most recent fight between Lala Kent, Nia Sanchez Booko, and Danny Booko during The Valley‘s Season 3 cast trip to Mexico came pretty close to mirroring a heated gridiron rivalry. When Lala attempted to confront Danny amid their drama, Nia was quick to run interference for her husband.

Even Lala used a football reference while revealing behind-the-scenes details from her clash with the Bookos in Episode 15 (streaming on Peacock now) on The Valley After Show. As far as she was concerned, the couple had been “constantly” criticizing Janet Caperna for “walking away” from uncomfortable conversations, but when it was Danny’s turn in the hot seat, Nia literally blocked her from talking to him.

“I’m like, f–k this,” Lala remarked. “I have yet to have a conversation with Danny that he’s not pulled away by his wife. So, I approached the bar, and yo, Nia f–king turns into an offensive lineman … I’ve never seen anything like it. I don’t know if I should be, like, scared, impressed, confused, maybe all three.”

She continued, “And then to look behind her and see Danny standing on a stool to, like, get into my line of vision, eating up that his wife, who’s like four months postpartum, is blocking me?!”

Lala Kent explains why she “got into it” with Danny Booko

Heading into the nighttime portion of Danny’s birthday celebration on the beach in Mexico, Lala described already feeling “unwell,” after her heavy conversation with Janet earlier in the day. “I was so emotional from what Janet had shared with me. I felt physically sick,” she added on the After Show. “And I felt like anybody who made my friend Janet feel unseen, unheard, or take her back to that moment, I wanted to attack.”

At the same time, however, Lala recognized that Danny and Nia were “not responsible for what she went through” and decided to quell her emotions. But when she arrived and saw Danny “getting into it” with Michelle Saniei at the bar and then talking about her to the guys afterward, her plan changed.

“I was just basically like, ‘F–k you all,'” Lala recalled. “I am so sick of having to have big dick energy around men. And then I see Danny, and we just got into it.”

Lala, meanwhile, could only theorize about why Nia eventually intervened: “She’s a woman of her faith. She has created a beautiful family, and any threat to that, she’s obviously, she’s gonna come for you. And I don’t understand that. I’ve never been in that situation.”

As for Danny’s “lazy” insult about Lala not having a husband, the Vanderpump Rules alum claimed in a separate After Show clip that she’s still “cackling” about it today.

“As if he thought that would affect me in any capacity. It’s like, have you seen the life I’ve created?” she added. “I have structured my life in such a meticulous way, so if you’re going to step to me with an insult, you better do f–kin’ better than that. It’s like, Nia, this is the man you’re trying to protect?”

Though Nia had her own conflict with Danny to deal with before the night was over, she shared why she’d gotten involved with his and Lala’s argument, in a separate interview on The Valley After Show. For starters, Nia claimed that she’d simply wanted Lala to “leave [her] man alone” amid his birthday celebration, which also happened to “technically” fall on their 10-year wedding anniversary.

“I don’t have time for you if you’re wasting my time on stupid stuff,” Nia explained. “And Daniel, after he feels like he’s been attacked over and over and over again, at a certain point, he hits his wall. And he’s like, ‘I’m gonna push back.’ … So we are on two completely different pages, maybe different books, at this point of the night, and I’m like, ‘Why are you even entertaining Lala attacking and antagonizing you?'”

Accusing Lala of “trying to look around me to, like, poke at him,” Nia further commented, “It takes a lot for me to get to, like, the end of my rope. … I was just done.”

In the second clip, Nia conceded that Lala and Danny were “both antagonizing each other,” but still got in one more jab at her castmate. “I definitely don’t take criticism from someone I wouldn’t want to trade places with,” she vented. “I’m not trying to be in her shoes, so thank you, but no thank you.”

Danny Booko says he was “baffled” by his and Lala Kent’s fight on The Valley

Finally, Danny weighed in to say that Nia’s intervention confirmed for him that they were “on the same team,” after feeling like she didn’t “have [his] back” at various points throughout Season 3. Regardless, he claimed to not fully understand why Nia had to defend him to Lala in the first place.

“I was just completely baffled,” Danny declared in the separate After Show clip. “It’s my birthday, it’s my 10-year wedding anniversary, and she’s stirring the pot. And I was at the point where I was goin’ ten toes down.”

Describing Lala’s confrontation as “really hurtful” and “really out of line,” he also revisited the end of the night when Nia returned to their room solo, while he stayed behind at the bar. When Danny eventually called it a night, he discovered a plate of churros that Nia had put together for his birthday. However, she was already asleep in bed with their daughter Adelaide, at that point.

“I made the mistake of wallowing in what my birthday and anniversary just ended up like,” Danny concluded. “It just felt like that whole moment was ruined.”

As the cast trip to Mexico comes to an end, don’t miss how Lala intervened in Danny and Nia’s drama earlier on The Valley Season 3.
