Larsa Pippen has found love again.
A month after confirming her relationship with Jeff Coby, The Real Housewives of Miami mom shared more details about the budding romance. Larsa told Us Weekly that she and the pro-basketball player have become increasingly serious, so much so that she’s already using the “L” word.
“We have a great relationship and I do love him,” the mother of four said.
Larsa Pippen addresses a potential engagement to Jeff Coby
Larsa and Jeff made their red-carpet debut back in April, roughly a year after the Housewife announced her split from Michael Jordan’s son Marcus Jordan. The new couple made headlines several weeks later when Jeff claimed he and Larsa would tie the knot before the end of the year.
“We’re getting married,” Jeff told TMZ as he and Larsa left an event. “I can’t tell you when I’m gonna propose… We’re getting married November 2025. It’s going to be a beautiful marriage.”
Larsa told Us Weekly that Jeff’s comment was “probably a joke,” but she was open to another marriage.
“I feel like I definitely do enjoy being with him,” Larsa said when asked about a potential proposal. “So we’ll see.”
Larsa Pippen explains why many of her partners have been athletes
This, of course, isn’t Larsa’s first relationship with a professional basketball player. Before Marcus, she was romantically involved with Detroit Pistons’ Malik Beasley and was married to NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen from 1997 to 2021. Larsa said she was naturally drawn to athletes because of their drive and structured lifestyles.
“I think what I do like about athletes is the discipline,” she explained. “I feel like most athletes are disciplined when it comes down to their regimen and how they go about their food, and how they work out and sleep well. I feel like if you’re smart and you have goals and ambitions, I like to be motivated. I want to surround myself with guys that are motivated.”
Larsa Pippen reveals what separates Jeff Coby from her previous boyfriends
Although she’s held the “wag” (wife/girlfriend of a sports figure) title for decades, Larsa insisted her relationship with Jeff was different from her previous romances. The Chicago native said she and the 6’8” forward have “so much in common,” specifically when it came to family values.
“I feel like Jeff and I are kind of the same in that way,” she revealed. “We both are traditional in a lot of ways. We both love to be around our family, and I feel like in the past I dated guys that weren’t like that, [they] didn’t necessarily care to spend time with their family [or] weren’t as close to their family as I was. So they thought that [it] was weird that I wanted to always be around my parents or my siblings.”
