A wife and her daughter are behind bars after they allegedly attacked their husband and father with a frying pan.
It happened on Jan. 27 in Ashland City, Tennessee, outside of Nashville. The wife, Pam Davis, 62, and daughter, Kelly Davis, 29, are facing attempted murder charges. Local NBC affiliate WSMV obtained the police report and body camera from the incident.
The body camera shows a bloodied man in only his underwear on the porch with two gashes on top of his head.
“I’ve had better days,” he told Cheatham County Sheriff’s deputies who asked him if he was OK.
The man said he asked his wife for a divorce the night, which led to an argument that lasted several hours. He then went to bed and woke in the morning to his wife and daughter allegedly attacking him with a frying pan and knife.
“I got a couple of blows,” he said, pointing to his head.
Pam Davis also allegedly choked her husband with a belt, but he was able to break free. Kelly Davis reportedly threatened to kill her father as she held a knife. The victim said he wrestled the knife away from his daughter and he fled to the neighbor’s house because he feared for his life.
“The neighbor advised [the victim] showed up at the residence covered in blood and wearing only his underwear claiming that his wife and daughter had attacked him,” the affidavit reportedly said.
Deputies responded after the neighbor called 911.
A deputy walked over to the man’s house and saw two women in the living room with several injuries.
“He started this at 11 o’clock last night,” a crying Kelly Davis said. “He’s done this before.”
The two women appeared to have been slashed with a knife, but deputies reportedly said the wounds were superficial.
Deputies took Pam and Kelly Davis to the Cheatham County Jail. The two have since posted bond.
