CHARLOTTE, N.C. (TCN) —Â A 31-year-old man has been charged with one count of felony secret peeping and three counts of indecent liberties with a child after he allegedly used his phone to record under the skirts of teen girls at Target.
On Sept. 13, Target employees called police after they allegedly saw Adem Shrader following teens around the store, using his phone to attempt to photograph under their skirts or shorts, WBTV reports.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by WBTV, surveillance video allegedly captured Shrader crouching down behind a 17-year-old girl and recording up her skirt. He later allegedly followed three 15-year-old girls into the clothing section and hid behind a rack to reach through it and record them.
He was allegedly seen following that group of girls to the checkout area, per WBTV. Queen City News reports he was then detained by police and Target staff.
Shrader was arrested Sept. 14 and charged with three counts of felony indecent liberties with a child and felony secret peeping, WCNC reports. He was granted $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court again on Oct. 1.Â
According to court records obtained by Queen City News, Shrader was sentenced to eight months in prison after he was convicted of peeping Tom-related charges about two years ago.Â
