The McDonald’s in Nashville, Tenn., where Javaunn Brown allegedly broke a worker’s arm while being kicked out (Google Maps).
A Tennessee man fuming over being kicked out of McDonald’s for making a cashier uncomfortable yanked one of the restaurant doors so hard it snapped a worker’s arm and broke it, cops say.
Javaunn Brown, 34, is facing an aggravated assault charge in connection with the alleged confrontation at a McDonald’s on 8th Avenue South in Nashville, according to local NBC affiliate WSMV.
An arrest affidavit obtained by the outlet says Brown was being kicked out of the McDonald’s because he was trying to flirt with a cashier, which made her feel uncomfortable and led to a co-worker getting involved.

The co-worker allegedly stepped in and got the female employee to go to the back of the McDonald’s after getting between her and Brown. He told Brown they were closing up and that he would have to leave immediately.
As Brown headed for the door, the co-worker followed him with the intention of locking up the restaurant behind Brown as he exited, according to the affidavit. The co-worker was preparing to shut the door behind Brown when he allegedly yanked on it and broke the staffer’s arm, then walked away from the restaurant.
“Brown pulled the door hard and fast causing [the co-worker] to break his right arm,” the affidavit says, according to WSMV.
The injured worker was transported to a local hospital and treated for the broken arm. The injury was serious enough to require surgery, according to police. His condition was not known Monday.
Brown was later found at a nearby bus stop. He allegedly gave police a much different account of the confrontation, claiming that the McDonald’s workers were harassing him “for no reason at all,” according to the affidavit.
Brown is due to appear in court on Tuesday.
