Just days after Steven McBee Sr.’s sentencing to prison for crop insurance fraud, his girlfriend Masha Petrova gave producers an update on their relationship in the above first look at The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys Season 3, Episode 2 (airing Monday, June 22 at 9/8c).

“[I’ve] been together with Steve for about a year and a half now, since Galyna [Saltkovska] moved out,” she tells producers of her situation with Steve and his ex-girlfriend. “I do consider him my boyfriend.”
With six week to go until Steve reports to prison, she admits it’s a strain on their relationship. “We’re just trying to enjoy the time. It’s very sad, obviously,” she shares with producers. “He has to go away soon. We’re just losing sleep over it.”
As McBee farmhand Jake arrives at Steve Sr.’s home, he discovers Masha is there alone, while Steve is “in the city.” He doesn’t hold back his thoughts on their relationship.
“Occasionally, you know, I’ve got to go to the lodge to take care of some animals and stuff, and Masha seems to be there more than she should be,” he candidly reports to producers. “I think she’s what you’d call like a stage-five clinger.”
Masha informs Jake that even more changes are coming, as she and Steve Sr. are in a “full remodel” of his home ahead of his prison sentence. “Steve is getting ready to go away in a few weeks and his mom’s moving in, so, we kinda decided to completely repaint it, declutter it, clean it,” she says.

Unsurprisingly, Masha informs producers that she and Steve’s ex—who is also her former friend—are still not in a good place during McBee Dynasty Season 3.
“We have a great relationship,” Masha shares of her and Steve during the first look, but adds, “But we do have some problems with his ex, Galyna.”
Masha then recounts a previously unheard story about an alleged encounter she and Steve had with Galyna at a Halloween party in 2024.
“Last year, the Halloween party, Galyna was very, very intoxicated,” she begins. “She spit in my face, screaming, cussing, punching everything. She ran through the house, and I could hear her heels getting faster and faster and closer and closer, and she gets to the bedroom and starts to scream.”
She concludes, “Galyna got arrested. Absolutely crazy.”

But Galyna remembers the party differently. “Everybody was drunk, including [Steve Sr. and Masha]. They were trashed,” she recalls. “[Masha] was so cocky and arrogant and constantly was pushing me.”
As far as her arrest, Galyna argues, “They blew the entire thing completely out of proportion. Called the cops.”
She later added, “Probably shouldn’t have done it, but, here we are. I did it.”
You’ll recall Masha and Galyna have been in a bad place since Galyna learned Steven Sr. was dating her good friend of ten years, Masha, behind her back, during the McBee Dynasty Season 2 premiere, with Galyna referring to Masha as a “gold digger.”
Their intense feud escalated when Galyna was caught on security footage at Steve Sr.’s home while he was vacationing with Masha in Mexico.
“‘Masha is freaked out. She thinks her chickens are dead and Galyna did it,’” Steve Sr.’s son, Cole McBee, read of his texts at the time. Additionally, Galyna was also accused of “[putting] all Masha’s stuff in a trash bag and [hiding] it.”
Later in the season, Galyna and Masha had a shocking confrontation during an event at the family’s car wash, and caused a scene, cementing their feud.

Galyna shared more about where she stands with her ex Steven McBee Sr. during an August 2025 interview with People, where she noted she “talk[s] to Steve every day.”
The two appear to still be in a good place after he reported to prison, as Galyna posted a tribute to her former love on his birthday in March. “Thank you for your friendship, for the memories we’ve made, and for believing in me when nobody else did,” she wrote to a series of photos of the McBee patriarch. “I’ll always be grateful for the chance you gave me and the trust you showed.”

She also referenced his time in prison, adding, “This is just a chapter, not the whole story. We’ll be seeing you back soon, and I’m looking forward to all of the future adventures ahead of us — in business and in friendship.”
“Stay strong. We’ve got to make more memories,” she concluded.
