Antonia Gorga got a nose job and is slowly sharing more details about it. Melissa Gorga’s eldest child took to social media this week to share information about her rhinoplasty and offer updates following the surgery.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter took to Instagram on June 10, where she posted a video showing off her nose before the procedure, before flashing a video of her wearing bandages over her nose. “Surprise,” Antonia wrote in the caption of the post. She also took to her Instagram Story, where she posted a selfie showing a close-up of her bandage. “Taking you guys on the recovery process soon,” she wrote after sharing her initial video.
Antonia followed this up with a video posted to Instagram on June 11, where she explained her motivations for getting her nose done. “Surprise! I got a rhinoplasty,” she explained, noting that she had wanted to get the procedure done since she was “at least 15 years old.” “This is something I’ve wanted to do for such a long time, and I’m so happy I finally decided to go through with it,” she wrote in the caption of the post.

The University of Delaware student continued in the caption, explaining why she decided to get her nose done. “I found out I had a deviated septum, which was a big reason why my nose was crooked,” she wrote. “My biggest goal was to make my nose straighter and more symmetrical while still keeping it natural and balanced with the rest of my features.”
She visited Dr. Sam Rizk for the procedure. “I never wanted a nose that looked completely different, I just wanted a redefined version that still felt like me,” Antonia noted. “I can’t wait to take you all along on this journey and share updates throughout my recovery. (I saw my nose today….I’m obsessed but super swollen).”

Melissa Gorga opens up about getting a nose job
Melissa spoke with The Daily Dish in 2016 while RHONJ Season 7 was airing, where she confirmed that she had a rhinoplasty done before. “It’s a personal thing. It’s not hurting anyone. It’s your own business,” she explained. “Some people like to say, ‘Hey, I injected this, tummy tuck this,’ and that’s fine too. It’s something that’s personal to me.”
She continued, citing Antonia and her two sons, Gino Gorga and Joey Gorga, as a reason for keeping this private. “I have children, and there are certain things I don’t feel like I need to blurt all over the world. That’s private, it has to do with me, myself, and I,” she added. “That was one of the things I wanted to keep for myself.”
Melissa took to the comments of Antonia’s Instagram video after her daughter shared her experience post-rhinoplasty, where she left her support for her kid. “Oh my God! My baby is being open and honest,” she wrote, along with a red heart emoji.
