Los Angeles, California – Miley Cyrus‘ newest album, Bass Persuades, has made music history – but not the good kind!

Per Billboard, the Flowers hitmaker’s 10th studio project has plummeted from the No. 1 spot to No. 157 during its second week on the Billboard 200 chart.
The steep fall is the biggest in chart history, with Madonna previously holding the title when her Madame X album fell from the top spot to No. 77 in 2019.
The 33-year-old’s LP previously debuted at No. 1 on September 28, as it reportedly sold 61,000 total album units in physical and streaming sales, the outlet revealed.

Bass Persuades is the first album that Miley released through Atlantic Records after leaving Columbia in July.
The Wrecking Ball artist, who recently dropped “Cyrus” from her social media handles, celebrated her album taking the top spot last week on Instagram.
She gushed in the caption, “Bass Persuades being #1 transcends a win. This process has been some of the best times for me. Everyone involved made it possible and more importantly fun and memorable.”
