The 24-year-old was last seen in the 600 block of Jackson Street NE, and her family is “concerned for her welfare,” police said in a statement. Authorities have not released any additional information about the case. Friends of Hackel are also organizing search parties. So far, there have been no sightings of Hackel, and her disappearance remains a mystery.
Hackel, a student at the John Paul II Institute at the Catholic University of America, was reported missing to the police on Wednesday. According to a report by WAOW, she was last seen wearing a tan sweater, white shirt, and black pants. Hackel is described as 5-foot-7 and weighing 130 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Taylor Hackel has no history of disappearances or mental illness, according to her missing person report. While there is no mention that Hackel is in danger, the case is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police Department. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the MPD.
