Morgan Wallen Smiles in Mugshot After Hurling Chair from Bar Rooftop, Slapped with Felony Endangerment Charge – Crime Online

Country music sensation Morgan Wallen was arrested last night following accusations of launching a chair from the sixth floor of a Nashville rooftop bar.

The 30-year-old singer faces three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct for allegedly tossing the chair from Chiefs Bar just after 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, CBS News reports.

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the chair landed three feet away from officers in the area. Eyewitnesses reported they saw Wallen laughing after hurling the chair, Nashville’s News Channel 5 reports.

Police arrested Wallen shortly after 12:30 a.m. After reviewing security footage, police wrote that Wallen was seen “lunging and throwing an object over the roof.”

“At 10:53 pm Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct,” his lawyer, Worrick Robinson, said in a statement. “He is cooperating fully with authorities.”

This isn’t the first time Wallen had a run-in with police. In 2020, police arrested him for disorderly conduct at another bar in Nashville. Following the incident, Wallen issued a public apology and later shared a photo of himself smiling alongside the bar’s owner, Kid Rock.

Meanwhile, Wallen’s bond was set at $15,250. He was released from Davidson County jail around 3:30 a.m.

His next court date is scheduled for May 3. Check back for updates.
