The tension between Nia and Danny was particularly apparent during Episode 6, as they took off on a cast trip to San Diego, with their youngest daughter, Adelaide, who was born in June 2025, in tow. Nia, for one, has been open about feeling as though she’s “on the verge of burnout” after giving birth, and she was quick to clock the “frustration” coming from her husband of 10 years whenever she’d tag him in to help with some parenting duties.

“I feel like there’s certain times where Daniel and I aren’t really, like, attuned as much as I’d like us to be,” Nia explained to a producer amid their parenting-related bickering. “I don’t know, I feel off with it.”

Even a group outing to an amusement park seemed to lack the carefree thrills that they might have shared in the past. When their nanny, Lina, took Adelaide, so that the pair could enjoy some time to themselves, Danny interpreted his wife’s excitement to be what he referred to as “performative.”

Nia insisted that was not the case, however, and called him out for being “a little critical” of her. “Literally, this is how my natural demeanor is without children, but I’m always with kids,” she told Danny. “And you’re looking at me like I’m crazy. … I just wanna let you know that that’s where it’s coming from, because I’m happy to be with you and not have any kids attached to me for a few minutes.”

As Nia elaborated to a producer, “It can be frustrating because we have the smallest windows of time when we’re kid-free. Like, it’s few and far between. And I feel like we’re not quite on the same page energy-wise, and I need that. So, yeah, so, it’s a little disheartening when I’m just trying to connect with my man.”

Danny Booko opens up about how his and Nia’s lives “changed” since becoming parents

Elsewhere in The Valley‘s May 6 episode, Danny admitted that his and Nia’s getaways certainly aren’t what they used to be after they became parents to four children, who, in addition to Adelaide, include son Asher, 4, and 2-year-old twin daughters Isabelle and Zariah.

“Trips have definitely changed,” Danny said. “Before children, when Nia and I would go on trips, there’s not much responsibility. We’d have the freedom to do whatever we want, whenever we want, and that’s just not the case when you have kids.”

As they got settled into the “baby house” they were sharing with Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick in San Diego, Danny expressed “some frustration” as he struggled to care for Adelaide on his own while Nia grabbed a quick bite to eat.

“I’m wondering why Nia has put me in this situation, when we have a babysitter,” he remarked in a confessional.  “What is the point of bringing the babysitter here, if we’re not gonna let the babysitter sit the baby?”

Where Nia Sanchez Booko and Danny Booko’s relationship stands today

Viewers can expect to see Nia and Danny encountering more hurdles on The Valley. “Now parents to “four under 4,” Danny and Nia have their hands more than full as they try to navigate their family life, social life, and move to a distant Santa Clarita,” the couple’s official Season 3 bios teased. “When the stress adds up, their friends notice a different side to Danny, putting Nia back on the defense to keep up their picture-perfect marriage.”

As for where Nia and Danny’s marriage stands today, the two appear to have weathered the storm, at least based on their recent social media activity.

In February, for example, Nia gushed about how Danny had made a “real dream come true” for her during a surprise birthday visit to Disneyland. “It was such a fun moment and I think our first time away from all of the kids where we were able to truly have fun together in quite some time,” she captioned an Instagram post.

While celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary in October 2025, Nia also wrote, “This man has seen me through so much and has truly been the man I need. He’s stuck with me through winning crowns, travels, loss, infertility, postpartum depression, and raising small children. It’s been wild, fun, hard, exciting, and so much more. I wouldn’t want to do this life with anyone else.”

Danny, for his part, commented, “Love you more than anything, my love! Thank you for choosing me!”

As they balance parenthood and romance on The Valley, don’t miss details on Nia and Danny’s “embarrassing” recent home “disaster.”
