BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. (TCN) — A 34-year-old man will spend up to 10 years in state prison after pleading guilty to charges related to an October 2025 home invasion.
According to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, police responded to a burglary in progress on Oct. 7, 2025. A woman, whose name has not been released, woke up to find she had been restrained on her bed by a man later determined to be Nafis Lamont Donte Fisher. When she began screaming, he released her from the restraints and escaped through the garage. On the way out of the home, he reportedly “grappled” with the mother of the woman who had been restrained.
According to WPVI, the victim was 25 years old and lived in the home with her mother and her father, who was in hospice care.
Fisher left the scene after stealing the victim’s AirPods, credit cards, passport, and ID. When police responded to the home, they tracked his car via the AirPods using the “FindMy” feature on the victim’s phone. Police found Fisher sleeping in his vehicle, and they activated the AirPods remotely to trigger an alert sound. Fisher was detained and arrested.
A search of the victim’s home later found a knife and a 12-foot rope on her bedside table, according to the DA. WPVI reports that according to Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn, “It was quite clear that he was targeting the 25-year-old victim’s bedroom.”
On June 1, Fisher pleaded guilty to charges including burglary, aggravated assault, robbery, criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and simple assault, and was sentenced to 4 ½ to 10 years in prison to be followed by five years of probation.
Of the sentencing, Upper Southampton Police Chief Dominic Varacallo said, “This was every family’s worst nightmare — a violent intrusion into the safety and sanctity of their home.”
