Los Angeles, California – Pete Davidson discussed his high-profile romances with Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande – and where he stands with his famous exes today!
In a wide-ranging chat with Variety, the Saturday Night Live alum first reflected on his dalliance with the SKIMS mogul after the two met on the comedy-sketch series in 2021.
Pete joked that he’s “one of the survivors, the few and the proud,” after dating a Kardashian and dealing with the intense media scrutiny that follows.
The 32-year-old explained, “That’s a really tough atmosphere if you’re not game. One of the things I love about Kim and that whole family is they’re like, ‘This is what we do.’ I found that very attractive and mature.”

He insisted that the All’s Fair star “never subjected” him to anything he didn’t want to be part of and was “super respectful.”
The Bupkis actor, who split from Kim nine months after they began dating, admitted that “being followed everywhere, having security and looking over your shoulder” was “a little too much” for him to handle.
After sharing that he still “has a lot of love” for the reality star, he then shifted to his thoughts on the recent criticism surrounding his ex-fiancé’s appearance.
Pete said of the backlash, “I don’t like it at all. It’s not cool. She’s a really strong person, I’ve witnessed it, and I don’t understand it.”
The King of Staten Island actor said that Ariana “knows how to handle this stuff though,” adding, “She’s been around. So she’ll be okay, but I think it’s f**ked up.”
As for where he stands with Ari – who’s responsible for the comedian’s reputation of having “big d*** energy” – he revealed, “I think Ariana’s f**king cool and immensely talented and an awesome girl. We’re not texting or whatever, but we’re cool.”
