An eastern Wisconsin police department is asking for a help finding a toddler who disappeared from a home in Two Rivers Tuesday morning.
The 3-year-old boy, identified as Elijah Vue by WLUK, was last seen by his caregiver at about 8 a.m. Police said there were no family members or other “associates” in the area at the time.
Two Rivers Police said a Wisconsin AMBER Alert was issued but provided no information about a possible abduction. Under Wisconsin law, an AMBER Alert can be issued if law enforcement has a reasonable belief that the child was abducted or is in danger.
Elijah is described as being of Hmong and white ethnicity with dark blond hair and brown eyes. He is about 3 feet tall and has a birthmark on his left knee. He was last seen wearing gray pants, a long sleeved, dark shirt, and red and green dinosaur shooes. He may have been carrying a red and white plaid blanket.
Police said they have requested assistance from local, state, and federal sources using dogs and drones as well as personnel. They asked residents surveillance cameras for any images of the missing boy.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the state tip line at 844-267-6648.
