Los Angeles, California – Officials have confirmed that the death of Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford, is a “suspected overdose” as police continue to investigate.
Per NBC News, the 27-year-old’s cause of death has not been formally confirmed, but law enforcement says there is no sign of foul play.
Presley passed away at a rehab facility in Santa Monica on Sunday morning.
“SMPD detectives are investigating the death as a suspected overdose,” a statement said.

Presley was the son of model Cindy Crawford and entrepreneur Rande Gerber, who have been married since 1998. He had a younger sister, 25-year-old model and actor Kaia Gerber.
The family has not commented on the tragedy besides a brief statement that read, “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”
Just last month, Kaia got candid about Presley’s addiction struggles and the weight that is placed on her family.
“When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone,” she told Vogue. “I think that’s also why I started to self-​identify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help. Because it felt like too much to have two children who were needing.”
The Shards star called Presley an “absolute teacher” for them, as he isn’t afraid to be “very human.”
“There’s only so much you can hide from the world. And trying to put a lid on something just makes the person feel like you’e ashamed of them,” Kaia added.
