According to The Mirror, the Sussexes’ move has already “divided” their new neighborhood.
Cotswolds resident Helen Kirwan-Taylor believes the media frenzy Harry and Meghan will bring to the area may not sit well with the locals.
The outlet notes that the Cotswolds are a popular, especially tranquil, retreat for the wealthy and famous.

In the UK, it’s more common to keep a low profile – a stark contrast from American celebrities.
This sense of self‑importance is likely to be less well received in rural England, the neighbor claims.
Kirwan‑Taylor also claimed that Harry and Meghan have already made an impact on their new surroundings.
Among other things, they are said to have ensured that phones were banned at the school of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to prevent the other students from taking photos of the young royals.
Yet just two days after school started, the children had to leave the institution.

The security concerns were deemed too great after Meghan’s private phone number was shared in a WhatsApp group among school parents.
“My worry is that Harry and Meghan want attention – which is not how it’s done,” Kirwan‑Taylor said.
Just a few days ago, Harry and Meghan were spotted with Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi at a pub. It was one of the Duchess’s first public appearances since moving to the UK.
Whether Harry and Meghan will be able to settle into their new neighborhood without any problems remains to be seen.
