The motherboard claims that Palenkova uploaded a selfie on the app just before taking her own life. “Goodbye” was written as the picture’s caption.
After she passed away, he asked people not to send him any condolence messages on his page on a Russian social media platform.
If people don’t want to subject him to any psychological pain, he said that those letters wouldn’t be able to help him feel better and requested that they refrain from writing to him about it.

A Georgia family is mourning their daughter’s loss, and they think she took the Blue Whale Challenge before committing suicide.
According to CNN, the 16-year-old girl sketched a picture of a girl with the name “Rina Palenkova” written underneath it to keep her identity a secret.
This, along with a few other hints, has led the deceased girl’s family to suspect that the youngster committed herself due to the trending online “game.”
