The size of Rosie DiMare’s house created plenty of chatter among The Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast before the it was even fully built (more on that below). Amid her and husband Rich DiMare’s “massive” home renovation project, Rosie offered an update on the construction’s progress during Episode 8.
“Me and Rich are in the process of building a 5,000-square-foot addition to our home,” she explained in a confessional. “But right now, it’s just a massive hole in the ground.”
Rosie went on to detail the reasons behind multiple delays, including finding a “bunch of boulders” when they started to dig, as well as another issue that arose when they began to pour the foundation. Once they got a few more steps out the way, there was one phase of the project the RHORI ‘Wife was particularly looking forward to: decorating.

As she lamented, however, “The fun part isn’t even starting any time soon.”
In the meantime, Rosie gave BravoTV.com an exclusive tour of her home which you can read all about below and see for yourself in the video at the top of this post.
Inside RHORI cast member Rosie DiMare’s home
Before taking the camera crew upstairs, Rosie paused to highlight the decor in her foyer, including a “My Happy Place” lighting fixture. “This is my favorite neon sign,” Rosie gushed. “I love the greenery and the texture here. I have some more palm tree, and it’s just a great place to, like, take a look at yourself before you leave the house.”
While ascending to the next level, she also pointed out her and Rich’s wedding photos on the wall, as well as the “crazy leopard print rug” that she installed on the stairs.
Upon reaching the second floor, Rosie remarked, “Welcome to my tiny house. As you can see, this is where we’re living while we have a massive construction project going on.”
The first area she showed off was the kitchen, where she said, “Rich makes me lots of delicious meals if I’m not eating out.”
The nearby dining room table is where Rosie said she does “most of the editing” for her local lifestyle TV show.

Next, Rosie joked that her sitting area is where she and husband Rich “talk s–t about people.” In addition to another leopard print rug, she showcased more of her home decor, including “lots of neon signs,” disco balls, sage, and crystals.
“We like to protect the house,” she noted. “I even have some protection spray over here. … You have to spray this to keep all the bad guys out. I’ve been spraying it a lot recently.”
Rosie drew design inspiration for her living room from The Beverly Hills Hotel, which she said she’s “very into.”Â
“But I put my own spin on it,” Rosie added. “Obviously, the leopard print rugs, the palm trees, the disco balls. It’s really my thing.”
Rosie also took viewers inside her bedroom, which was adorned with — you guessed it — “more leopard print, more neon signs, [and] more sparkly things.” That’s where her “makeshift glam room” is currently located.
“It’s really just a closet with all of my crazy clothes,” she described. “It has a lot of my designer bags, designer shoes, and one tiny section for Rich. He actually has another closet, but this is what I’m working with right now as we build our massive dream home.”
Details on Rosie DiMare’s ongoing house renovations
With that said, Rosie moved outdoors to show the site where the rest of her “dream home” will soon be situated.
“We are in the middle of a 5,000-square-foot project, where you can see we are going to have a very beautiful home,” she concluded, before teasing future plans to also “transform” her current living space once the main construction is completed sometime this summer.
Rosie DiMare and Kelsey Swanson’s drama over her home’s square footage, explained
In Episode 8, Rosie ongoing debate with Kesley regarding her home’s square footage reached a boiling point. On The Real Housewives of Rhode Island After Show, the two further broke down the source of their heated drama.
According to Rosie, Kelsey’s accusation that she was “lying and exaggerating” about her home’s size dated back to a text message she sent in February 2025. At the time, Rosie had revealed to her castmates that she and Rich planned on the house eventually expanding to 8,000 square feet. “They just thought I was lying about the whole thing,” she explained.
Once their plans to add a third floor were nixed, the square footage decreased, however. “Either way, it’s a massive f–king house,” Rosie added. “I wasn’t lying about that.” (And, yes, she also claimed to have “all of the paperwork from this home build” to prove her version of events.)
Kelsey, for her part, maintained that Rosie’s alleged “lying” was the core issue, rather than her actually caring about the size of the home itself.
“I knew that she was throwing that number out there to inflate and to build herself up into this facade and this person that she’s pretending to be on that very given day,” Kelsey elaborated. “So, I just called her out for being a liar. It could’ve been about something completely different. It’s just you can’t keep lying. It’s exhausting to listen to.”
She continued, “It’s so stupid that we’re even arguing over the square footage of her house that I do not care about in the first place. It’s just that I call her out for being a liar, and she doesn’t like that.”
As their conflict continues on RHORI, get more details on what initially sparked Rosie and Kelsey’s feud.
