Search Scaled Back for 15-Year-Old Autistic Boy Who Vanished Without a Trace – Crime Online

Tennessee officials announced on Monday that they are scaling back their ongoing search for a 15-year-old boy who has been missing since late last month.

Sebastian Rogers, who is autistic, vanished from his Hendersonville home on February 26. WSMV reported that searchers have found no sign of Rogers and search-and-rescue dogs have not picked up his scent.

Sumner County Deputy Chief Eric Craddock said despite police shifting their efforts more toward an investigation, they have found no evidence to suggest Rogers is dead. Police have asked the community to review their surveillance footage for evidence.

“We were told that his favorite song was “Eye of The Tiger,”” Craddock said, per DailyMail. “We tried playing that to kind of call him and let him know we’re here to help. I’m sure that he could see what’s going on here and be intimidated.”

According to WKRN, an anonymous Nashville business is offering a $3,500 reward for information that leads to Rogers.

Rogers was described as being 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, and having dirty blond hair. He was reportedly last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

Anyone with information regarding Rogers’ whereabouts should call the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office at 615-451-3838 or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
