Ciara Miller’s 2026 Emmys red carpet look was not only stunning but was also once worn by the late Whitney Houston. The Summer House cast member appeared on the red carpet on Monday, Sept. 14, at the 2026 Emmy Awards, where she rocked two separate but stunning outfits, with one being previously worn by the music legend.
Ciara donned a tan-and-white vintage Mark Bouwer gown complete with an oversized white satin collar and gold buttons down the bodice to host Live From E!: Countdown to the 2026 Emmys ahead of the awards show. She admitted on the network that the dress was once owned by Whitney Houston, who she was channeling in the gorgeous dress. “This was Whitney Houston’s dress. She wore this in 1993, 1994. This is a Marc Bouwer,” she said in a clip posted to Instagram.Â
She continued, noting how Whitney holds such significance to her and her upcoming career move. “It was a gift to me, and it is so special because in a couple of days on Dancing with the Stars, my first dance is to Whitney Houston’s ‘Exhale (Shoop Shoop),’ and so I thought, ‘what better event to wear it than now,'” she said.
In addition to the hosting gig, Ciara was able to walk the red carpet at the 2026 Emmys. For her second Emmys look of the night, she changed into a white sequin halter top and satin skirt with a long train accessorized with some simple silver jewelry.

Ciara will be returning to Summer House for Season 11 alongside cast members Kyle Cooke, Carl Radke, Lindsay Hubbard, Mia Calabrese, Jesse Solomon, KJ Dillard, and Bailey Taylor, which was confirmed in July 2026.Â
Ciara spoke about her return to Summer House, which premieres on Bravo in 2027, with The Hollywood Reporter on Sept. 7. “I felt like I’ve been in that house since I was 24, and these are my friends,” she said. “Why wouldn’t I spend my summer how I’ve been spending my summer?”

Ciara is also a cast member on Dancing with the Stars Season 35, competing against other celebrities for the mirror ball trophy. Ciara opened up to E! News on Monday night, where she admitted that training for the dancing competition show has been hard work. “I don’t know how my first dance is gonna go yet,” she said in a clip posted to YouTube.
Although she said that she has had no injuries yet and “prays” for her ankles “every single day,” she has been slowly getting the hang of things ahead of DWTS. “I’m definitely getting my butt kicked a little. I haven’t worked out this much since high school,” she said. “I want to get to the finals so bad. I have so many ideas, so many costumes, so many things.”

But before competing on DWTS, Ciara was a contestant on The Traitors Season 3, which is currently streaming on Peacock. Although Ciara didn’t end up making it to the finale, she did make it all the way to Season 3, Episode 8, with what she describes as “no strategy.”
“People would ask me what my strategy was, and I was like, ‘I don’t have a strategy.’ I was like, ‘I didn’t know people had a strategy,'” she admitted during a February 2026 appearance on The Squeeze. “Like, when I was watching it back, I basically just showed up every day. I didn’t know that I was supposed to have this long, drawn-out plan.”
