Kristi McBee is the first to admit her feelings about Galyna Saltkovska are complicated. After Steven McBee Sr.’s girlfriend, Masha Petrova, texted Kristi during The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys Season 3, Episode 2, Kristi opened up about those complex dynamics in a conversation with Kacie Adkison and Alli McBee.

“I don’t even wanna text her back, because I don’t even want to waste any of my energy on [Masha],” Kristi explained. “As weird as it sounds, I don’t like what she did to Galyna. I know, it’s all jacked up.”
Kristi (who has alleged that Steve Sr. and Galyna were in a relationship while she was still married to him) shared a reminder of what happened between Steve Sr., Galyna and Masha during the McBee Dynasty’s June 22 episode. “Steve and Galyna were together, and Galyna was helping Masha out. They were friends. Very good friends. And then [Masha] and Steve got together,” she said.
Kristi highlighted the starkest difference, in her opinion, between Galyna and Masha. “Galyna cares about you guys. I know she does,” she told Kacie and Alli, who have daughters with Kristi’s sons, Cole McBee and Jesse McBee, respectively.
“One thing Galyna does, she shows up,” Kristi emphasized to producers. “But Masha, she doesn’t care about my family. She cares about one thing, and that’s getting Steve [Sr.].”

When Galyna and Kristi both joined the rest of the McBee family for dinner during the June 22 episode, Kacie pointed out how much has changed.
“It’s still really weird seeing Kristi and Galyna in the same room,” Kacie confessed to producers, and explained the dynamics shifted after Steve Sr. was sentenced to prison for crop insurance fraud. “Since the sentencing, they are on talking terms.” She joked, “It’s just funny that Steve [Sr.]’s ex-wife is here, the mistress is here, and we’re just missing Masha.”
Kristi also admitted that she and Galyna “have come a very long way.” She shared of the McBee Farm and Cattle Co. CFO, “Our relationship has grown to where I can talk to her about finances, about the business.”

The two also made a breakthrough when they finally talked things out during McBee Dynasty Season 2, and bonded over Steve Sr.’s relationship with Masha after allegedly cheating on Galyna. “It’s been a lot happening for the past couple of years that, you know, kind of helped me to understand… It made me realize how it felt to be the other woman,” Galyna admitted to Kristi.

During the June 22 episode, Kristi opened up about a specific incident between Masha and Galyna during McBee Dynasty Season 2, and why she ended up taking Galyna’s side.
“Masha doesn’t care about my family. Did she care when she showed up to the car wash opening after my boys had worked so hard?” Kristi wondered to Kacie and Alli.
In case you need a refresher, Kristi was referring to Masha attending an event during Season 2, Episode 9, and getting into a heated confrontation with Galyna that drew the attention of customers and investors.

“The only thing she cared about was making Galyna mad. And showing Galyna that she’s with Steve,” Kristi pointed out during the June 22 episode.
When Kristi inadvertently ran into Masha at Steve Sr.’s home later in the episode, she laid out her concerns to Masha.
“The issue I have, is that you don’t care about my boys at all,” Kristi shared. “The little performance that you made at the St. Joe car wash opening, do you have any idea what you did? You know there was customers, there was investors, bankers.”
She continued, “You knew all you had to do was walk by Galyna. You knew that. She can’t handle seeing you.”
Kristi made a final plea for Masha to stay away from McBee businesses. “You know the stress they’ve been under. We can’t have any drama around any of the businesses. And I really don’t want it around the boys,” she told her.
