As West Wilson and Amanda Batula chat about Ben Waddell’s new girlfriend, West makes it clear he’s just as confused about the situation as Amanda during the above preview of Summer House Season 10, Episode 11 (airing Tuesday, April 14 at 8/7c).
The conversation comes as the house is throwing a party, with the theme being “Ben’s Last Ride,” as West puts it. From there, he and Amanda turn to Ben’s cardboard cutout, which she jokingly karate chops. “Right in the wein?” West asks, prompting Amanda to recall how she and Kyle Cooke first met Ben during a wedding in Italy. “Yeah, I went skinny dipping with him. Never saw it!” she jokes.
West then brings up Ben’s new girlfriend, Sabrina: “He went from being like a single guy, to being like, ‘My girlfriend’s coming.’ And we’re like, ‘Oh. Wait. What?’”
Continuing to explain his confusion in a confessional interview, West adds, “[I] leave the house, go to Italy, come back, Ben’s married. Like, what the f—k’s going on?”
Back in conversation with Amanda, West pivots to how Ben is “upset” with Amanda over comments she made to Sabrina. “I love that you got in trouble for something,” he remarks.
“No, I’ve cried like five times about it,” Amanda answers. “Talking about how great he’s been all summer, like—“
West interjects to joke, “Yeah, you were like, ‘He wants to f—king slam me.’”
Ben Waddell and Amanda Batula’s disagreement on Summer House Season 10, explained
In case you need a refresher, Ben and Amanda’s friendship took a rocky turn during the March 10 episode, after Bailey Taylor jokingly accused Ben of wanting to “definitely sleep” with Amanda.
Ben then pulled Amanda aside at the end of the April 7 episode to discuss what he called a “really off comment” he alleged she made to his girlfriend Sabrina. It happened as he introduced Sabrina to his Summer House-mates for the first time at Lindsay Hubbard’s housewarming party.
“Sabrina told me they were talking, and [Amanda’s] like, ‘Ben’s been great the whole time. Everybody in the house thinks that he’s in love with me — but apart from that…” Ben recalled earlier in the episode. “And [Sabrina] was kind of like, ‘Hold on, what?’”

In a confessional interview, Ben explained to producers, “Sabrina’s now upset. ‘Why are you saying this guy I really like, he’s in love with you but not me?’”
During Ben and Amanda’s conversation, she told him, “If I said anything that made her upset, it wasn’t intended that way at all. I was literally singing your praises to her.”
Ben answered at the end of the April 7 episode, “She just felt like it was a dig at the end. She’s like, ‘Why is that coming up?’ I came out here because of you and Kyle — we’re all good friends. I just thought it was a bit s—t to kinda say it in that way.”
