The fashion designer spoke with Bravo Insider in August where he admitted that filming the reunion was “terrifying.” “It was crazy and uncomfortable. And it was a lot,” he stated. “And I felt kind of overwhelmed at some points.”
While he admitted that there is “a lot” about the reunion that will surprise viewers, he added that there are some things that won’t come as a surprise. “I think what won’t surprise [viewers] is a lot of the same come up, but what will surprise [viewers] is there are some resolutions and you do get to hear a lot of truths that you weren’t really expecting,” he noted.
Shai Fruchter reveals what he wishes he said at the Next Gen NYC Season 2 reunion
Shai also appeared on The Viall Files on Aug. 18 where he opened up about what he wished he said at the reunion. “I tried to leave it all in the paint and I left feeling like I should have said more, honestly,” he said.
“So a big comment I get a lot from people in the group, and I got this from Andy [Cohen] too. I get it from people DMing me and people talking to me about the show, like ‘A friend to all is a friend to none.’ And I think that’s absolutely bulls—t,” he admitted during the episode. “I think that you should be kind of nice to everyone. And if you’re not going to, then you’re doing something wrong. And if people take that and interpret that as you being two-faced, then that’s their problem, right?”
