Southern Charm‘s Shep Rose is giving a new look into his current friendship with ex-girlfriend Taylor Ann Green, four years after their breakup. Taylor and Shep had dated for two years before their 2022 breakup, but they have a friendship today.
Shep took to his Instagram Story on June 8, where he revealed that he was hanging out with Taylor and her parents on Sullivan’s Island to celebrate the life of her late brother, Richard Worthington “Worth” Green, on the anniversary of his passing. In the photo, Shep can be seen sitting across from Taylor and next to her parents as they sipped on glasses of wine at a restaurant. “Some of the finest people I’ve ever known,” Shep wrote over the photo. “On the anniversary of the fellow rapscallion Worth’s passing. Lots of memories and laughter.”
Taylor reposted the photo to her own Instagram Story, where she added more commentary about her late brother. “Our favorite spot on Sullivan’s to celebrate our favorite guy,” she wrote, along with a white heart emoji.

Taylor appeared on the podcast, The Viall Files, on June 2, where she shared that she had hung out with Shep following her recent breakup with her ex-boyfriend, Gaston Rojas. She admitted that Shep was happy to see her and even brought up his connection to her family. “He was like, ‘I cannot believe you are sitting here in front of me. I cannot believe you reached out. I care about you. I think about you all the time. I think about your brother. There’s so many times I wanted to reach out to you. But I felt like I couldn’t because your ex was holding you hostage.’ Which he was to a certain extent,” she explained during the episode.
“He cares about me as a human being and cared about me very deeply,” the Southern Charm alum added. “And even in my time of kind of throwing him under the bus and giving him a lot of s–t, he’s always been there for me. And he’s just had a very big heart for myself, for me, and my family, which is big for me. That’s important. Especially when it comes to my family.”

Taylor Ann Green reveals thoughts on rekindling a relationship with Shep Rose
However, she has ruled out getting back together with Shep. “I have seen the rumors that we’re getting back together or hooking up again or whatever. And that is not true,” she said on the podcast.
“Shep is a very logical human being, and he’s not the type of person to be like, ‘Yeah, let’s do it. Let’s get back together.’ He would inevitably say, ‘That’s not the right thing to do,'” she noted.
