Steve McBee Sr. is sharing major updates on his home and family life following his return from prison. It’s been over one month since The McBee Dynasty: Real American Dynasty patriarch returned to his family’s farm in Gallatin, Missouri, on Sept. 11, and he has been settling into a routine with his family by his side as he shares details on his new routine.
Steve Sr. has been so active on Instagram to reveal that he’s also been quite active in the kitchen, taking to his account over the past month to share a look at some of the meals that he has made since he has been home. On Sept. 22, Steve Sr. took to his Instagram account where he posted photos of his healthy cheesecake made with Greek yogurt and eggs; pork chops with mushrooms and garlic gravy; and biscuits that he made from scratch. “Well, at home cooking away in between reading and working on the computer…trying to find more healthy alternatives to start cooking,” he wrote in the caption of the post.Â
Steve Sr. returned to the kitchen with his granddaughter, Blair McBee, on Sunday, Oct. 11, where he revealed that she was helping him cook. “What are we making? Are we making Sunday lunch?” he asked in a video posted to Instagram. “Are we cooking? Oh yeah, we’ve got it all going on, don’t we.”Â

Steve McBee Sr. shares an update on his health
Steve Sr.’s mission to cook healthier is part of his mission to get healthier. He took to Instagram on Oct. 2, where he revealed that he is focusing on his health and cholesterol following his release from prison. “Sending in my Rhythm blood test Monday. I’ll post the results when they’re back in about a week. I’ve always had high LDL, the bad cholesterol,” he wrote in the caption of the post. “But LDL comes in large, buoyant particles, and the small dense ones are the bigger concern. This time I’m also checking the ApoB, which actually counts how many of those particles you actually have. Stay tuned.”
He’s also been focusing on his oral health, too. On Sept. 24, Steve Sr. shared on Instagram that he was getting a root canal, which had been a long time coming. “The last month and a half I’ve had such a bad toothache I can barely eat,” he said, before revealing he was getting it fixed. “I’m so happy about that. That’s a big deal.”

In addition to taking care of his health, Steve Sr. has been taking care of his home following his return from prison. He took to Instagram on Oct. 3, where he posted a video of himself cutting branches of a tree on the farm all by himself. “No more branches to face on mowing day. Raised the canopy on a couple of driveway trees,” he wrote.Â
It’s the latest upgrade that’s been made amid his return home, which has included a refresh of his home office as well.
