Fittingly wearing a shirt saying “Funcle,” Steven McBee Jr. stepped into his new uncle role during The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys Season 3 — and invited his then-girlfriend Allie Eklund to be by his side during a previously unseen moment that you can now watch in the above clip.

In the video, Steven and Allie settle in to watch Cole McBee and Kacie Adkison’s daughter, Blair, but Kacie is unhappy with the situation. “Steven did not tell me he was bringing his new girl over to watch Blair,” she complains to producers. “I was under the impression Steven was coming alone, and it makes me uncomfortable to leave my child with Steven, and also this stranger.”
Kacie then pulls Steven aside and asks of Steven’s brother, “I thought Brayden [McBee] was watching her?”
Steven’s response? “I forgot to tell you, didn’t I?”
Allie, however, reassures both Kacie and McBee matriarch Kristi McBee that she’s up to the task. “I promise, I nannied and I used to babysit,” she shares, detailing her time nannying for four boys.
After Kacie and Kristi leave Steven and Allie alone with Blair, Steven decides to change Blair’s onesie — dressing her in an outfit adorned with Steven’s face, captioned, “Fav Uncle (Sorry Brayden).”
Steven McBee Jr. details his life as an uncle
Steven has become an uncle twice over between McBee Dynasty Season 2 and 3, welcoming Cole’s daughter Blair with Kacie, as well as Jesse McBee’s daughter Summer with Alli McBee. He’s been open about embracing his role as uncle on his Instagram account.
He captioned a May 14 photo of Blair wrapping her arms around his neck, “The important things in life.” He also posted a video of himself crawling on the floor with Blair and hugging her in December 2025. “Thank you [Kacie] and [Alli] for making me an uncle,” he wrote. “Best job title I’ve ever had!”
