The Summer House Season 10 drama, explained
The Summer House Season 10 finale (watch or rewatch it on Peacock now) marked a major turning point amid post-filming breakups and broken bonds within the friend group.
For starters, just prior to departing the Hamptons at the end of the summer, Amanda Batula informed Kyle that she would be traveling back to New York City separately and heading directly to a hotel amid intense marital issues. As was documented on the In The City spin-off, Amanda eventually moved out of their shared apartment, and though she and Kyle attempted to repair their marriage through couples therapy in the interim, the two announced their split in January 2026.

Though Ciara, meanwhile, had rekindled her friendship (and even shared some kisses) with ex West Wilson by summer’s end, a major scandal erupted when he and Amanda confirmed they were dating on March 31. As was more fully unpacked during the Summer House Season 10 reunion, the new relationship led to the end of Ciara and Amanda’s once-tight friendship, ultimately leaving the group, as a whole, divided as well.
One a more positive note, Lindsay and Carl’s long-awaited heart-to-heart at the ski-themed finale party in the Hamptons marked a new chapter for the exes who have rebuilt a platonic relationship in the months that followed. Lindsay, for her part, continued documenting her dating life as a single mom on In The City, which also featured cameos from Ciara, West, and Carl throughout Season 1.
Before Summer House Season 10 officially came to a close, several cast members filmed three separate post-reunion sit-downs as part of a surprise bonus episode, Summer House: The Aftermath. The special included revelatory meetups between Lindsay and Amanda, Kyle and West, and Ciara and West’s ex Meija Moreno.
