The sneak peek, which you can check out above, features the Season 1 cast — including Aaryn Williams, Annari Uys, Gabby Hernandez Huffman, Alli McAnelly, and Hailey Head — and offers more clues on everything viewers can expect when Small Town Trouble: Texas premieres on Nov. 18 at 9 p.m. ET.

What the Small Town Trouble: Texas Season 1 trailer teased

Some cast members have unique relationship “arrangements”

The trailer kicks off with Alli describing Boerne as a “Hallmark town,” and Hailey underscoring its “cute, sweet, quaint vibes.” Aaryn, for her part, adds that Boerne is “exactly what you would expect” from a “conservative” small town. Behind the scenes, not everything is as buttoned-up as it appears to be, however.

“When it comes to Boerne, you might have to take your perception of a small town and flip it upside down,” Alli says, before Aaryn, separately, spells out exactly what her castmate is referring to.

“You would be surprised how many women are married with traditional families, but also sleeping with women,” Aaryn reveals in a confessional. “It’s a lot.” Afterward, she, Annari, and Gabby toast to “having vaginas and liking vagina.”

From there, the sneak peek gives viewers a glimpse of some the unique relationship “arrangements,” as Annari’s husband, Duan Uys, puts it, within the group. Amid a heated argument in one clip, Hailey’s longtime partner, Josh Marsalis, even questions whether Jordan Huffman is truly OK with his wife, Gabby, having “sex with another woman.”

Several marriages are in crisis

In the midst of the other women’s same-sex romantic drama, Hailey, meanwhile, says that she thought “the talk of the town” was that she and Josh had been together for 11 years, but still are not married. Josh, for his part, remarks, “If it ain’t broke, you don’t fix it.”

Their relationship might not be on quite the solid ground he believes it to be, however. After Gabby opines in one clip that “Hailey just deserves so much better than Josh,” later, Hailey tearfully vents, “I just don’t really give a f–k what anyone else has to say about my relationship.” In another moment, she adds, “He’s completely leaving me. This is so not fair for me.”

In a separate one-on-one, Alli asks Gabby if she’s worried that she’ll come to realize that she and Jordan are no longer meant to be together. “I really hope that’s not the case,” she replies, before Jordan is shown admitting that he’s “trying to figure” out if he’s OK with his and Gabby’s current marital arrangement.

Friend group drama explodes amid some blurred romantic lines

Outside of their marriages, the women, of course, also clash with each other. “I really thought that we had this friendship,” Aaryn says in one tense moment, prompting Alli to fire back, “You’ve had a million falling outs with best friend after best friend after best friend.”

After Gabby mentions to Annari, “I don’t think she wants to have that emotional connection with you,” the subsequent clip appears to preview a confrontation between Annari and Aaryn. Later, Annari mentions Aaryn’s husband, Nick Williams, prompting the latter to firmly reply, “Don’t talk about my husband anymore.”

Other drama previewed in the trailer include accusations of one of the women being “obsessed” with another, as well as a heated debate over whether or not someone believes her “sins are less impactful” than those committed by one of her castmates.
