“His brother was very famous from Quiet Riot. Both their fathers are deceased,” Vicki explained. “I said, ‘Hopefully, they got a good inheritance.’ And they’re denying it. OK, then don’t.”
Why did Terry Dubrow bet Vicki Gunvalson $100,000?
Terry bet Vicki $100,000 in an interview with Bravo Insider in late July, where he wanted her to prove that they got money from their families rather than their hard work. “I did seven years of general surgery residency where I was awake and working for 148 hours a week. And by the way, there’s 168 hours in a week; 24 times 7 is 168, I worked 148 of those. Learning how to be a surgeon, OK?” he said during the interview.
“And the other thing is, I put it out there, Vicki, put your money where your mouth is. And we’ll bet you $100,000 that I can prove to you beyond a shadow of a doubt that we, me, I, didn’t inherit a single dime from my brother. And if you don’t want to take that bet, you should S-T-F-U, Vicki,” he concluded.

But, Vicki admitted to Bravo Insider that she wasn’t trying to undermine Terry’s career as a plastic surgeon or Heather’s longtime acting career. “He thinks I was diminishing them from work. No, I know he works hard,” she said. “I know he’s a producer on Botched.”
“I was not trying to throw shade on his income that he makes on his TV show and being a plastic surgeon. He just exaggerated the whole thing. So I don’t know why he’s doing that,” she added. “So knock it off, Terry.”

Vicki Gunvalson opens up about her own inheritance
Vicki told Bravo Insider that she has nothing against people who have inherited money, especially since she inherited some money from when her late mother, Joanne Closset Steinmetz, passed away in 2015. “I will admit I inherited $2,500 when my mom died. I will admit it,” she noted. “If it had a couple of zeros on it, I would admit it.”
“So if they don’t, they don’t. He’s just making this go on bigger than it really was,” she concluded.
