Matthew Stevens And Claire Holloway Divorce Drama
When Clare allegedly saw another man, Matthew started drinking regularly, and their marriage began to fall apart in 2012.Â
Clare informed her husband that their marriage was ending in December 2012, alleging that their physical relationship had ended and he had become an excessive drinker.Â
Matthew asserts that he left after discovering texts on her phone. He told The Sun on Sunday that he did question her quite a lot, and she’d say, ‘don’t be so stupid.’ But suddenly, one day, the snooker player found her phone, which had many explicit messages from “a bloke.” as he refers, and then he left the house straight away.
She countered and said she told him the marriage was over, but he refused to accept it. At that point, they had separated.Â
The 45-year-old player had no intention of moving out of the house until February 2013. But, at that point, he did see her private messages.
“Matthew found messages, not explicit, just messages,” she said. The Welsh player thought she was having an affair, which she claims she wasn’t.
Matthew then moved out to live with his sister, Charlotte, before renting a two-bedroom flat.Â
He claimed that he frequently observed Clare’s new boyfriend driving what he claimed to be his Mercedes and BMW Saloon. The cars, according to Clare, are hers and were purchased by her. She responded that she kept the vehicles because he was suspended for one year.
