Summer House’s Amanda Batula and West Wilson attended a baseball game together on Friday, April 17, weeks after they confirmed their “connection” — and we’re getting a behind-the-scenes look at the pair’s night out thanks to West. Amanda and West were spotted at the New York Yankees vs. Kansas City Royals game in NYC on Friday, in a moment that was posted by the YES Network.
In the moment, the two share a kiss. And when they weren’t watching the action on the field, West was sharing a BTS look at the night out.Â
In the series of Instagram Stories he posted on the same night as the game, West showed off the other friends he was out with at the game. The group included several of his pals getting drinks at various spots, as well as having fun in the stands. He captioned the moments “Project managers,” with a handful of friends, and “Commemorative,” referring to the cup his friend was drinking out of during the game in the stands. He also posted a group shot of people just hanging out together in a crowd somewhere inside the venue.
By the way, for those keeping score on the game, the Yankees beat the Royals 4 to 2.

“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” they said in the statement. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” the statement continued. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care. As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”

Following the joint statement, Amanda later released her own statement in the wake of the news about her and West and how she was handling the situation days later.
“Hi guys, I’ll keep this short and sweet. I’ve obviously been MIA, but I wanted to come back on and say that I’m truly sorry to everyone I’ve disappointed and hurt, especially those I know personally who I’ve reached out to individually,” she wrote in the statement shared to her Instagram Stories post on April 10..
Amanda continued, “For the sake of my mental health, I’m going to try to start living life with some sense of normalcy. If you see me out or posting online, please know that this still weighs very heavily on me. I’m not ignoring what’s happened or what’s unfolded. I’ll be at the reunion and will be addressing any and all questions honestly and directly there.”

Andy Cohen reacted to the news of Amanda and West’s statement in early April, noting that interested fans should keep this aspect in mind when it comes to it. “I do think it’s worth reminding everybody, all the passionate fans of the show, that these are real people involved,” he said on his Sirius XM show on April 1. “Just know these are real people who are dealing with a lot.”
