Congratulations are in order for the winner of Bravo’s Top Chef Season 23. In addition to bragging rights and other prizes following Rhoda Magbitang’s win on this recent season of Bravo’s cooking competition series, the chef will also receive a James Beard Foundation package.
The James Beard Foundation package awarded to the Top Chef Season 23 winner includes hosting a private dinner at the historic James Beard House in New York City; a VIP Experience at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards; and getting to participate in the James Beard Foundation’s signature program, Chef Bootcamp for Policy and Change, that provides advocacy training in support of policies that impact our food system.

In the Season 23 finale of Top Chef, it was revealed that Rhoda won. “It’s wild. I can’t even fathom it,” Rhoda revealed in a confessional in reaction to her win. “It makes my heart swell how proud… Yeah, how proud everyone would be.”
She reflected more on the moment as she tearfully told the judges, cheftestants, and loved ones, “Top Chef has brought out so much out of me. You know, anything worth doing is worth doing well, and if you just put your heart into it, you can make it happen. And you’re proof of it.”
Top Chef host Kristen Kish, who won back in Season 10, also celebrated Rhoda’s win in the episode. “You served us a great meal of toasts. Watching you through this entire competition has been a complete honor. We couldn’t be more proud of you, and truly a toast to you, the newest Top Chef, Season 23. Congratulations. Welcome to the club, my dear,” Kristen said.
