After viewers watched the former couple navigate the ups and downs of their split on The Valley, Season 3, Episode 17 showed Jesse and Michelle amicably toasting to finalizing their divorce. While the bittersweet moment marked the end of their marriage, it also highlighted how much their relationship has evolved since they first appeared on The Valley and announced their separation.
Here’s where Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei stand today after divorce.
When did Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei separate?
Jesse and Michelle publicly announced their separation in March 2024, though they later revealed they had actually ended their marriage in October 2023. Throughout the following seasons of The Valley, viewers watched the former couple work through the emotional and legal challenges of divorce while figuring out how to co-parent their daughter, Isabella.
Their relationship came with its fair share of challenges after the separation, too. Disagreements over finances, parenting, and moving on with other partners became a major focus on the show. The divorce process also took longer than either of them expected. During Season 2, Jesse said paperwork delays during mediation slowed things down, while Michelle believed he was intentionally dragging out the process.
Even so, both Jesse and Michelle have consistently said that Isabella remains their number one priority.
When did Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei finalize their divorce?
Jesse and Michelle finalized their divorce in October 2025. At the time, Jesse shared a joint statement with Us Weekly, stating, “Michelle and I have taken the last step towards finalizing our divorce. We’re moving forward with mutual respect for each other and focusing on making memories with Isabella.”
Michelle added that she was grateful they had reached an agreement and were able to begin a new chapter while continuing to co-parent their daughter. The former couple reached a settlement together that covered custody and support before officially finalizing their divorce, according to People.
Where do Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei Stand Today?
Today, Jesse and Michelle appear to be focused on moving forward while raising Isabella together.
Michelle has spoken openly about co-parenting, admitting that adjusting to two households hasn’t always been easy for their daughter. She told BravoTV.com she and Jesse work to keep Isabella’s routine as consistent as possible, including sticking to the same bedtime and bath schedule no matter whose house she’s staying at. Michelle also shared that their custody schedule allows Isabella to see each parent every two days, something she believes has made the transition easier.
Jesse has echoed this sentiment, sharing that reaching a custody agreement was one of the most important parts of finalizing their divorce.
Both have also moved on romantically. Jesse is currently dating Lacy Nicole, who joined him during Season 3 of The Valley, while Michelle’s relationship with Aaron Nosler came to an end in July 2025. These days, Michelle confirmed she’s dating Dr. Dre, a famed rapper and music producer.
“She can do whatever she wants, and I’m happy for her,” Jesse told US Weekly about the news Michelle was dating a celebrity. “[She can do] whatever she decides to do. As long as she keeps Isabella in the forefront, because I do that as much as possible.”
Meanwhile, Michelle clarified to People in June 2026 how often she and Jesse are currently in contact.
“I try not to really have a relationship with him unless it has to be about our daughter. We won’t text, we won’t see each other unless like Isabella has a school function, then we’ll go and we’ll sit next to each other,” Michelle said. “We definitely have our moments. He still makes me upset at times and it’s hard to navigate, but I just focus on myself. Don’t get me wrong, we definitely fight here and there, but we’re much better than before.”
While it took time to get here, clearly both Jesse and Michelle feel their situation has improved from when they first decided to end their marriage. Viewers will have to wait and see how their new relationship as co-parents will play out.
