After filming wrapped on The Valley, Nia and Danny have since found their rhythm, however, as she revealed in an exclusive relationship update for Bravo Insider.
“Even though my husband and I have conflict, which happens in relationships, we love each other and we’re good,” Nia said. “There’s moments that we don’t act in the best way that we wanna act, like we try to choose to be towards each other every day. Because we’re not perfect, we fail at it sometimes. And so, we’re good. We love each other. Life is good now.”
While unpacking the source of her and Danny’s on-camera “friction,” Nia explained, “It was just a hard time being, not a first-time parent, but a fourth-time parent to a new baby and still having toddlers. It’s just a lot to juggle. We were definitely feeling the stressors of it, but that’s life.”

The growing pains weren’t entirely unexpected though, especially considering Nia and Danny had already experienced them, over the course of their 10-year marriage.Â
“Even outside of filming and cameras and all of that, whenever we have been pregnant and expecting and knew when the delivery date was, we’ve always said, ‘OK, once the baby comes, the next six months to a year is going to be harder,” Nia explained. “We know that we are tired and shorter with each other and all the things. And so, we already expect it to be hard.”
Adding “the pressure of the cameras,” along with castmate drama, only made “everything feel a lot bigger and more dramatic,” according to Nia. That said, watching the episodes together was still an eye-opening experience that she and Danny have used in tandem with traditional marriage counseling sessions to strengthen their post-filming relationship.

“We’re good now, but those moments were wild,” Nia admitted. “We’ve been to therapy since then, and then watching the TV show back is also like therapy. So, we reanalyze that with our therapist and have all those conversations.”
As for how that tactic’s been working out for them, she continued, “We’ve really gotten kind of back to basics, because we’ve always been good at communication. I feel like we kind of let go of that for a little bit, just with all the exhaustion and craziness. And so, we’ve pulled back into the healthier, stronger communication.”
What’s next for Nia Sanchez Booko and Danny Booko after The Valley Season 3
Despite some initial hesitation about Danny’s idea for their recent move to Santa Clarita, Nia has since warmed to her family’s new living situation — and has no immediate plans to relocate again.
“I plan to stay in this home for quite some time,” she said. “We’re kind of addicted to the view. Bocco Mountain is incredible. And you wake up and just see like a mountain view in a beautiful backyard and a pool. I don’t know how we could just go to some backyard that like looks up to someone else’s house. So, we’re stuck for a while in a good way. We love being stuck there.”
On the professional front, Nia teased that she and Danny also have “some business and media ideas” in the works, too.

Nowadays, Nia and Danny’s marriage is in a “very fun place,” thanks in part to all they have going on with their “incredible” four children, Asher, 4, twins Isabelle and Zariah, 3, and Adelaide, 1. When the kids aren’t engrossed in learning about bugs and butterfly life cycles in Nia’s homeschooling sessions, her and Danny’s twin daughters have already been following in their dad’s acting footsteps on Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
“It’s really fun to support them in that and teach them and encourage them,” Nia shared. “Danny used to teach acting to young actors, so he’s the perfect dad for these girls. So that’s really fun.”
Now, Isabelle and Zariah, who play the titular couple’s daughter CeeCee, are gearing up for their third season on the CBS sitcom. “It’s fun to watch them grow, because they started kind of giving them little lines,” the proud mom added. “And I imagine, going into Season 3, that there will be more lines and more fun, interactive things for them to do. And they love it.”
Meanwhile, Asher, whom Nia described as “the best big brother in the world,” has been teaching his siblings some lessons of his own, too. “He is the ringleader of the circus in the best way possible,” she joked. “Asher very intentionally taught his twin sisters how to crawl out of their crib. Now, they all know how to get out of bed, which is great. They’re going to be moving into big girl beds soon. You can’t help but giggle, even though you’re like, ‘Dagnabbit, dang it.'”
As Nia concluded, “We’re just really excited about this next season of life as a family of six because it’s fun. It’s finally getting more fun. With Adelaide walking, she’ll be more independent and everything will feel a little bit like we can take a deep breath.”
